If Toodles your pooch or Cuddles your cat gets sick while you’re yachting off Sardinia, fear not. Two veterinarians to the stars – one in New York City and one in Los Angeles – have partnered with Blue Star Jets to found JetSetVets, an in-flight animal hospital that provides health care and travel assistance to globe-trotting critters. Cindy Bressler, DVM, who practices in New York City and the Hamptons, counting many pets of the rich and famous among her patients, has joined forces with Dr. Patrick Mahaney, a celebrity vet in Los Angeles and the West Coast Director of JetSetVets. The new pet concierge has veterinarians on call 24/7 in New York, LA, Palm Beach, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Aspen and, of course, the Hamptons to help their VIP clientele’s pets live a pawfectly happy and healthy life.
“Blue Star Jets has always been pet friendly, but with a growing demand from our clients for more intricate pet services — whether in-flight or travel-related — it made sense to team up with veterinarians already known to our clientele who have precisely this experience,” said Todd Rome, President of Blue Star Jets.
In a welcome philanthropic gesture, the company will donate proceeds of all flights booked through JetSetVets to animal charities.
