Hanging in Santa Barbara with My New Friend Ike

It is so great to be healthy again now that my IMHA is in remission. I am so fortunate to be able to take a recent road trip with my dads up to Santa Barbara. We had so much fun walking around town, going to the beach, and getting together with friends both new and familiar. I got to spend a few hours running around with my new canine pal, Ike. He’s a Portuguese Water Dog, like Barak Obama’s dog, Bo. Ike lives in an amazing, George Washington Smith designed house in Montecito with his super nice family. He is so lucky to have such a big yard, which served as the race track for our many games of chase. Actually, I am kind of envious of Ike’s day to day lifestyle, as my urban dwelling in West Hollywood only provides me bunches of Mondo grass, into which I get my kicks burrowing myself and playing “jungle dog.” Photo of I love to lay in the cool Mondo grass Then again, I appreciate that which I have at home and will quell my envy over Ike’s vast yard. I look forward to some repeat play time soon with Ike! Hopefully, next time we will take a trip to the beach together! Thank you for reading my latest dog blog post.
