As a holistic veterinarian, I'm passionate about preventing illness in my canine and feline patients. Additionally, I am always striving to find ways I can make my patients healthier in manner that causes no harm. Although I'm not anti-vaccination, I've witnessed the harmful effect that vaccinations can have in pets suffering from immune system and auto-immune diseases, cancer, and those that are prone to Vaccine Associated Adverse Events (VAAE).
Such is why I've teamed with Spectrum Labs, makers of VacciCheck antibody titer test for Distemper, Adenovirus, and Parvovirus. Research has shown that vaccinating to a dog that is sufficiently immune to a particular infectious agents doesn't create an increased level of immunity.
My goal is to spread the concept of testing our canine companions' blood to see if the immunity created by a vaccination is sufficient before providing an immunization that the body may not actually need.
Fortunately, I've got a local partner in this cause in Pussy & Pooch Pet Lifestyle Center in Beverly Hills, CA. On Saturday, June 13, 2015 I'm holding the second VacciCheck antibody titer clinic at Pussy & Pooch from 10A-4P. The fee for the clinic is $50 per dog and 100% of the proceeds benefits Wags & Walks pet rescue. Wags & Walks will be holding an adoption event on-site from 12-3P.
Each dog receives a physical examination before a small blood sample is collected for VacciCheck testing. This will be a wellness-only clinic for antibody titer testing and I won't be performing consultations on current canine health problems during this clinic.
There are only 20 appointments available, so sign up to reserve your spot by calling 310-221-8644.
