By what means do you get medications into your dog? The most common means are pills and liquids that are given orally. Other medications can be given via injection or transdermal gel (which absorbs through the skin into the bloodstream).
Inability to get a medication into your pooch can lead to failure of treatment. Such is why working your veterinarian to ensure that the recommended treatment format actually gets into your pet's body is crucial.
