It’s been a while since I last made a post on Cardiff’s Blog. I have to chalk this up to my dad hogging his computer, as he has been so busy with his client correspondence and writing a regular column for petMD’s The Daily Vet.
I had so many adventures in 2012, thanks to the ongoing maintenance of my health. It has been two years since my last episode of Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA), and I'm feeling better than ever (knock on wood).
What’s my secret? Well, my dads both take exceptional care of me. My vet dad feels it is a combination of reduced stress and less exposure to toxins and infectious organisms, regular doses of immune system supporting nutraceuticals and medication, and my human grade Lucky Dog Cuisine. Considering I just turned six and had my first of three IMHA episodes when I was two and a half, the combination of healthy lifestyle and food speaks for itself.
At the close of 2011, I want to reflect on all the good times I had with my canine buddies all over the country. I look forward to seeing more of you in 2012.
