This initial consultation helps educate new puppy owners on the many health strategies that must be started early in life to ensure their dogs thrive during their juvenile, adults, and geriatric life stages. Therefore, it’s important that new pet owners go into the first and subsequent veterinary appointments with an open mind, desire to learn, and willingness to comply with the veterinarian’s recommendations.
